I am a Mechanical Engineering PhD student at University of California, Merced.
Welcome to my blog.
Atomic Force Microscope
A Day in the Lab—"Something's Wrong Again"
Artist: Akayi Thein
I do experiments to study a phenomenon where friction almost vanishes.
I work with a fancy microscope that "sees" 1000 times better than light microscopes.
During my experiments, I monitor live scans from the monitors connected to the microscope.
Often, I am frustrated. Sometimes, I am excited. Always, I am hopeful.
On this blog, I share my experiences and knowledge with you.
